RHV Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Richard Rhoda, PhD, co-author of the 2010 book, Geo-Mexico: The Geography and Dynamics of Modern Mexico, will be giving a 90 minute PowerPoint lecture at the LCS Sala at 2PM on Tuesday March 21, 2012. The presentation, which is open to the public, is entitled, "Modern Mexico: So Much More Than We Think." The lecture will include a wide range of topics such as: drug violence, volcanoes, socio-economic trends, biodiversity, health, education, politics, environment, monoploies, demographic trends, globalization, immigration, and Mexico's place in the world. This is a repeat of the LCS lecture Dr. Rhoda presented on December 15, 2011.
