I do have a gal looking for a car she can buy used and drive for the next few years, but a 10-year old Civic at that price is unfortunately not going to do it.

Wow, I've found that used items are priced here for way more than we are used to in the US and Canada. Not sure if anybody has an idea why...is Mexican society less of a throw away society than NOB and is there a larger market for sound used items? Same car on Kelley Blue Book good condition = $4845 but I don't imagine that has any bearing on prices down here.

Friend just bought a 2008 Nissan sentra with 40,000km for $6500 US, from the rent a car place next to Multiva.
