Also be warned that about once a year a large bug will short out a wire and set the alarm off. No big deal just get used to it

Installed electrified fencing above our ironwork on top of our wall; also did our house alarms. Know his stuff, does it well, came back (free) several times to help us figure out how to use the systems he installed.

Sorry, I can't recommend anyone because my architect chose the contractor, so I don't know the name of the security company. One suggestion, and this is the reason for this post; sometimes we have power outages. Therefore insure that your system has a battery backup system built into it.

Also, I have heard that the thieves cut the electricity off.....

I was told that there are cheap electric fences without an alarm and the power can be cut off. Beware.
I had three electric fences installed since we moved here and they did a great job.
