Dear friends we started this year with a lot of art @ Jardin de Ninette, come and enjoy the Francisco Gonzalez Exhibition, is lovely! have a glass of wine and enjoy a nice dinner.

Son Jarocho, music from veracruz, it´s a really nice show, with 3 different guitars (jarana, contrabajo and requinto), and two singers. I would say is the first rap ever jeje! the singers perform singing to each other and saying mexican poems where they answer to each other. I am sure you will enjoy this mexican cultural exhibition.

Just dined (as opposed to ate) there last night. The service, food (I had lamb) and atmosphere was great. For those without a car they helped us get transportation home. Lovely place. Go there.

Today we start the day with three new specials for this week:

Two colors Vichicoise soup.

Roasted duck breast with black Mole oaxaqueño.

Lamb tenderloin with red wine and yogurt sauce.

We also want to invite you to the 2012 chili cook off and try our Salsa, Margarita and Chili, vote for us and enjoy this great event!

Saturday: Flamenco show with Los Hijos de la Macarrona. (7.30PM)

Hello friends, After reading your comments about live music at restaurants I want to let you know that we will only have the live flamenco show on Saturday with los Hijos de la Macarrona and Leonor Zertuche (my wife) dancing at 7:30 pm. We will keep trying to please you as much as possible and bring new dishes with more mexican flavours for you. Thank you very much for supporting us through this 4 and half years of service.

Mi esposa and I are part of the no loud music crowd when going out to eat, BUT, the young group that plays flamenco was so special, their flamenco music so different from anything we had heard before that we did find them to be a joy to hear and watch.

I agree but would also like to add that what we find most appealing is Oscar's wife interpretive flamenco.

Oscar, now that Laurent has closed please consider adding some French offerings - I think it would generate lots of interest.

Dear friends, on May 19, we´ll have an event @ Jardin de Ninette, to raise funds for scholarships for young and upcoming dancers. Estudio punta tacón. and Jardin de Ninette will work together to provide scholarships for these young people to study dance techniques such as Ballet, Flamenco, Jazz, Contemporary and Belly dance.With this event we want to promote art and dance as a discipline of personal and social development.If you are interested providing scholarships to support a young person join us on Saturday May 19, 2012 in El Jardin de Ninette. Hello dear friends, we have some news from Jardin de Ninette. We have a daily Happy hour in the house wine and beer at Jardin de Ninette, from 12 to 6 pm. 2 glasses of house wine (Chilcas white or red) for 50 pesos or 2 beers for 25, not bad!

You can´t miss our daily 5 courses sampling menu for 320 $ pesos. every day a different one. Today´s:

1st. Zucchini slices with gorgonzola, tomatoe and parmesan cheese.

2nd. Tuna ensemble with corn sauce and green apple.

3rd. French onion soup with cabernet sauvingnon and beef stock.

4rd. Lamb tenderloin with red wine and yogurt sauce.

5th. Grilled pineapple with caramelized fruits and goat cheese.
