For those of you that have known him on this board for years and appreciated is low-key intelligent, helpful posts and his wry sense of humor, I thought you should know this. Scott died yesterday afternoon, at his home in Chapala, of cancer.

That's sad news indeed. Sympathy and good wishes to Carol.

Wow, what a loss. Scott became my go-to guy for anything to do with TVs and entertainment systems. He came to my house once to help repoint my antenna. I especially remember a thread here some time back where someone was ranting about CFE and how we should all get together and let them know how we felt. Scott chimed in with what has now become one of our favorite expressions: 'Let us know how that works out for you.'

Although we never met his wife we send our best - his spirit will be missed.

This thread is about Scott Wolf's passing. Please have some respect and not change the topic to everyone you know that has passed recently. I can name 5 more too. Right now I am mourning my friend Scott. I would personally appreciate it if you would delete your posts about other people.

No, she was a prominent member of the writing community and lived in Roca. Very long time resident, you must have known her.

Scott and Carol are my neighbors in Brisas de Chapala. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
He was a gentle soul and a pleasure to everyone to knew him. I loved his sense of humor and his friendly disposition. Rest in peace Scott.

I'm so sorry to read this. I never met Scott, but when I had a computer question he sent me all sorts of links and easy-to-follow instructions. My thoughts go out to his family.

This is something Scott PM'd me a couple of years ago when I had to have my beloved Bichon put down and a week later I adopted a very sick street puppy (that I still have and love).

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I only knew Scott from this board and I always appreciated his knowledge and sense of humour. My thoughts go to Carol, his family and his many friends...may your memories help you through this painful time.
Knowing Scott, I bet he's up there in heaven trying to arrange better reception for fellow angels.
