I rather like it though it does take some getting used to.

Screen size AND resolution affect what you see.The size of your screen/monitor generally dictates how much you can see. This has also historically been a huge problem for Yahoo email users. 19" and up pretty much clears up the problem. (There was a time when software designers were used to doing graphics for a maximum screen size of 15". And this, while they often had 19" screens on their desks.)
As does whether you use full-screen or a customized application display screen size.

I dont see any guidance from Scott and I see no post from Heather.
What did they say that helped?
Could someone say or share?
I'm still trying to make the board display agreeable to my ways.

I thought I had posted it above but it seems to have disappeared.
Once you get there, bookmark it.

I don't like it either. Having to scroll to see who the poster is and then to have to continue scrolling to read each post is giving me a headache. Will someone please tell us how to fix this problem? This is taking all the fun out of reading Chapala.com!!!!!

Use the link above, then bookmark that.

Surely the implementer of this "upgrade" can make it better.
Perhaps next time, they'll provide a test site before foisting something like this on us.

Like anything else, new takes some getting used to, but I sure do miss the unread content button next to each thread that takes you the new posting there. Can that feature be enabled again?
Nothing the mod's can do its software from here:- http://www.invisionp...products/board/

I am using Chrome on FF and still have to scroll and still see the ads on the right. None of the links or settings seem to fix this. Any ideas please and thanks? (Besides the links posted, as i said I have tried them all and nothing changes)

Yes, but this didn't seem like a good time to get into a whole technical description for everyone. And in truth, a 19" monitor would absolutely clear up the issue, unless the viewer sets an unusually low resolution.

Anyone else having these problems?
Hopefully, the administrator will get in here and fix this stuff - the mods have already told me that they do not have access to the board software.
- The edit function does not save
- The "mark community read" function does not work
- The linking function does not work
I've discovered a temporary workaround for the edit function, if you press F5 to refresh the display. You have to copy your edit into memory first, though, or you will lose it. And I now have the link function working.
