Can you briefly explain what Mercado Libre and anumex.com are. Thanx!
Mexican version of Craigs List. Just google the names to get a better idea.

Mercado Libre is Mexico's Ebay, and I think is owned by Ebay.

you may also want to try anumex.com I've bought several things and have had good luck. Please always practice common sense when using any of these services. Good luck!
Just took a look at Anumex.com - never heard of it until now. It's a nice site. But how does it generally work? Is it like Craigslist ie. meet somewhere & pay? I know that there is also a craigslist mexico. Craigslist But not near here.

True, what I meant was that it more like Craigs List in that you don't bid on items.

How does delivery work when ordering from Mercado Libre? Is there a way to view their website in English?
I always used Estafeta, similar to UPS. Best to buy items listed with Mercado Pago. I have yet to find an English version
of the site, so obviously a bit of Espanol is required to navigate the site.

Has anyone used the OXXO payment option on Mercado Libre?
They charge a few, but I don't have a Mexican bank card, and to use a credit card they want to do 10-12 monthly installments.
If anyone has experience using OXXO let me know.
thanks!

I just found something on anumex.com...do you haggle? I loved EBay in the states, but am completely new to it here.
Don't see why you couldn't. It's not like e-bay where you're bidding on an item. They can only refuse your offer.
