I understand that both UPS and Fed X deliver to the Chapala area. If I wasn't home when delivery was made, would there be a local station here in lakeside that I could go into to get my package? Thanks for any responses made.

Mail Boxes, Etc has UPS and other package services, but I don't know if they would leave the package there if you weren't home or take it back to their distribution center. Maybe it would be easier to just have it sent to MBE to begin with then you could pick it up there.

Well here are the possibilities based off my past experience:
1) They left you a note telling you that a. they left the package with a neighbor or b. they will try again tomorrow.
2) They left you no note and you should be a mind reader and know that a. they left the package with a neighbor or b. they will try again tomorrow.
If you have a tracking number then it is best to call to get the real story about where your package is. I've had packages dropped off and nobody told me until the person who had the package told me. It is best practice to be home when they deliver if you know the time in your area and track online for best results.
