I'm looking for a sturdy used bicycle to buy, no gears, just a mans plain bicycle.
It doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it's in decent condition.
Please PM me with any responses. Thank you.

Have you tried the bike shop on the main drag in Ajijic or the one at Six Corners? They have used bikes I think.

There is also a bike shop in Chapala, on Juarez, just north of the rear of the mercado publico.

New at the bike shops you are gonna find them pricey. Just keep checking and look at yard sales. Since many Mexican laborers use them for transport they get snapped up quickly and that makes them hard to find!!!

I know, my gardeners bicycle got "snapped up" in front of our house and I was looking for a reasonably priced one to help him buy.

Have you tried Jocotepec? Everything cost less here than over at the other end of the lake.

There is a reputable bike shop across from the Bodega. Mostly new ones, but if you talk it over with the man there and tell him what you're doing and what you want, he'll help you find what you're looking for.

Other option is to put it out into the Mexican community that you're looking for a used inexpensive bike for your gardener someone will come up with something for you. Only trouble is. . .that may cause someone else to have their bike 'snapped up'! So to speak. . .

I'm looking for one too.
