The TallBoys Band's playing for a 4th of July special on the 3rd at La Tasca. Fireworks and the Best Party In Town!

There's a big Mexican American celebration planned at Chac Lah restaurant and the Monte Coxala Spa facilities near the Racquet Club.
Mariachis, Folcloric Dance, Pre-Hispanic music all on top of the pyramid. And topped off by the TallBoys Band in the restaurant complex. Starts at 5PM.

Go to the Racquet Club turn off on the Carretera. Turn right. Go past the Racquet Club guard shack. Go up three streets. Turn right. Follow the road to the Monte Coxala complex gates. I understand there'll be valet parking available.

The setting is absoultely gorgeous with rolling grass and spectacular views of the mountains and the lake.

Dems Abroad is also having a July 4th Picnic/Pool Party in the afternoon. Non partisan, just a celebration of our nation's heritage, but please RSVP. See the Events section.

Big News Flash

The event at the Monte Coxala/Choc Lah complex has been cancelled. So there's no mariachis, folcloric dancers, pre-Hispanic music.
And no $250peso per person cover to get in.

HOWEVER!!!

Beginning at 7:30PM the TallBoys Band will be playing inside the Choc Lah restaurant lower floor. Admission will be a whopping $40pesos and the event is a "private party" that's open to all. Read what you will into the "private party" idea! The restaurant will be serving food etc.

No fireworks (those are tonight at La Tasca) but it'll still be the Best Party In Town!

I can say no more!
