My son and my daughter are both getting married this fall and that means I need two really nice dresses that I will never wear again. They already told me I can't wear the same dress twice. Can anyone recommend a seamstress here that is capable of making this kind of dress? I can bring patterns and fabric back from the US...

No need to bring patterns in Mexico, go visit the fabric stores near La Bodega in Guadalajara, I believe they are on Chapultepec. Puerto Vera Cruz has all kinds of beautiful fabric for evening dresses, party dresses etc. The apatios have lots of stores with nice gowns and fancy dresses , you may be able to find what you need there.
