cost of a root canal?

I am thinking of waiting to come to Mexico for a needed root canal..It cost more than a 1000 dollars here in Canada with no dental plan.
What are approx. costs in Chapala for the same procedure?

Same as in the US. $1,000 or more. I had one done by my dentist in Ajijic last year and the charge was $100 US. I guess it depends on the tooth and any complications but dental care here is excellent. If you like I can give you the name and phone number of my dentist.

GREAT... I could as least enjoy a visit with friends in Ajijic and get it all done . Please send the dentist name etc
