Keep your US plates on it since it's under 1000cc's. When I crossed the border, someone was hauling 4 quads on a trailer so they aren't a second vehicle.

The most likely vehicle on the receiving end of "serious accident" in an encounter with a car is going to be the quad. No roll over protection, no seat belting, no real protection of any kind.
By all means if you want one, bring it with you because they are way more expensive here. And make sure you have lots of life insurance.

Mainecoons don't you have some work to do around the house, Wayne says go do some painting and check your gutters.
He also asks are you going to wear a helmet when and if you get a bicycle?

I'd rather look ridiculous (to you maybe, not to anyone who understands open-vehicle accidents and head injury) then end up with a serious or fatal head injury from a simple fall from a bicycle or quad.

Helmets just aren't, well, manly. Just ask Gary Busey although you may not get a coherent answer.
I don’t know what the key to success is, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

I don't think you are thinking of the same type of ATV the Polaris ranger is 60" wide and seats three smaller people across. and has a cab on it. with windshield wiper and all. Also checked with Lewis & Lewis and they will insure it.
