Jeanneb2000
Is there anywhere locally (Ajijic) to purchase pita bread?
tigerlily
I've seen it at Soriana in the past. Don't know if they still carry it though.
HelperGuy
WalMart always has it in the open cooler section just left of the bakery counter.
cedros
I've tried the "pita" bread from Soriana and Walmart and it isn't pita bread by a long shot. Sometimes Superlake has some that is close.
Felice
The owner of the Cairo Cafe sells it at the Tuesday market. It's the real deal.

Ha, we're in Mexico. You get what you get. But it tastes just like the grocery store, pre-packaged pita I get back home. Sort of like bagels at the grocery store not really tasting like real bagels.
