hensley
Does anyone know where to find something similar to this product or how to ask for it? Coating tables and bar tops with thick clear pourable plastic.

CHILLIN
There is an acrylic sealer, very clear, very hard, called Sellacril. We used it to seal grout on countertops. It does not yellow. The hardware store beside Farmacia Guadalajara in Ajijic has it. The real thick stuff, often embedding stones, maps, objects is a special two part epoxy. It does yellow over time. hensley
We need to pour it over a surface so that it will be nice and thick and hard and clear. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rust-Oleum-241352-Parks-Super-Glaze-Ultra-Crystal-Pour-On-Epoxy-Finish-Kit-Clea-/191076814170?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c7d10cd5a
CHILLIN
Yes - that is an epoxy. I have seen it on mercadolibre.com.mx. It is interesting, the formulator I use in Canada says he always gets calls from people who have left a too hot mug or pan on the surface, causing an indent. He tells them to leave it overnight, and the epoxy has a 'memory' and springs right back. People are amazed enough to phone him back to tell him it worked.
