bournemouth
This is one of our favorite places to eat in the area. They are now offering a Happy Hour from 4 -6, beer, house wine and sangria. They now have a grill set up and have arrachera, vacio, t-bone, rib eye, rib eye roll and rack of lamb plus chorizo. We have not yet tried the meats and will report back as soon as we do. Prices range from 90 pesos to 240 pesos for the lamb. Meson Don Quijote on Zaragosa, right behind Tratoria Ajijic. Try it - I think you'll like it. Closed on Mondays.
ComputerGuy
Sounds like a must-try. For meat lovers, anyway!
bournemouth
Their tapas are pretty darned good. We'll really have to try to move on to the meats.
nomames
I was excited for a Spanish restaurant and went to try meson don Quixote. Unfortunately when we arrived end place was so dirty we completely lost our appetite. We had already ordered drinks and decided to politely finish our drinks and leave. Seeing how filthy the tables and eating area was I didn't even want to think about the kitchen. That was my experience, I hope others have had better. bournemouth
We have eaten there many times, always with a group and have never, ever seen the conditions you write about. It's hard to believe we are talking about the same location.
Lexy
Bouremouth--I wonder if you and the other poster really are talking about two different places. Where's the Don Quixote you're talking about? Sounds worth trying. Lexy
