RZTraveler
I am a full time RV'er and built a place for my RV back in 2007 in Chapala. I have a Temporary Visa and have had one since then and will have to get a Permanent visa in 2 years. I have 2 options - nationalize my RV and apply for a Permanent visa and that I will not do. Or, return to the USA when my Temporary Visa expires, stay in the USA for 30 days, I think that is how long, return to Mexico and apply for a Temporary Visa. I would have to do this every time it expires but I will not have nationalize my RV. Spencer has the latest scoop on all this, contact him. So, if i can't sell my place in the next 2 years I am going to let my Temporary Visa expire and enter Mexico on a tourist visa but I can only stay 6 months. RVGRINGO
You could do that, but you must re-apply in the USA; not in Mexico. You will also have to provide current financial proofs at that time.
