Soap film on floor tiles

Has anyone had to remove soap residue on their ceramic floors??? I have tried vinegar with no success. Can I buy a neutralizer somewhere lakeside???

Question is, why do you have soap residue on your floors. I first wash them with a cleaning agent in water, then I rinse them. Never any build up.

We cleaned our shower tile with a very fine wet sandpaper. But, geez, the whole floor! You could try duluting muratic acid but be very careful because if it is too strong it will eat your grout. At the very least, I don't think you will be able to just mop it with something. It is going to take hands and knees and it isn't a job I would trust the maid with.

The muriatic acid would work BUT the fumes are bad and it will take forever. There must be a place around here that does power washing with a machine, and I would try that first.

Thank you all A small amount of Muric Acid in very hot water seams to work. not all gone but definitely the way to clean it. thanks for all your suggestions.

If Muric is cutting it, it may be calcium deposits. If so, CLR is faster and much easier to work with. I've found it at "the dollar store" south side of the plaza and at superlake
