Tomorrow is another Adoption Day for our Ranch dogs

Recommended Posts

This Saturday. 20 September, The Ranch will be holding another Doggie Adoption Day at the PetCare store from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. This week was to be “Red Dog Day” but Syd talked us into bringing Ollie, so it is “Mostly Red Dog Day”. The dogs and the dog walkers are ready for a blockbuster adoption day so we hope to see you there.

PetCare is located on the Carretera in Riberas. It is located between Cafe Magana and Pepe Magana, the Vet. You will see a canopy and signs and dogs being walked when you get there. Stop by and say "Hi" even if you aren't looking for a new best friend. PetCare has items you won't find anywhere else at Lakeside. We also have some homemade yummies for sale so come on by.

Hector and Susie were found tied to the Ranch gate one morning. They had both been neutered, clearly loved and well cared for. Susie has found her forever home but Hector is still looking.

Hector is a small to medium purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) red short-hair variety. He has a low-shedding, easy to maintain coat. He is affectionate, lively and friendly - ready to join you on walks and anywhere else you need a friend along. We think he is fairly young, maybe 2 or 3??

Honey is maybe 4 or 5 years old and is either an Afghan Hound mix or maybe some long-haired terrier? She was very shy at first but is learning to trust and like people. She is a large dog, with a flowing, honey-colored coat tipped with black. She is high energy and would love to come along on long hikes or walks around the Village. She missed last Adoption Day because it rained and she was covered with mud.

Roscoe was found abandoned on the Highway. We think he is 6-7 months old, and will be a small to medium sized dog. He has a short coat, mostly red with a black mask and some striking beige highlights. A very handsome young dog. He is snugly, lively and full of puppy-silly, just waiting to bring some fun into your life.

Ollie is really too cute to be believed. He is about 10 months old and will remain small. He was rescued from a family who wanted a cute puppy but weren't ready for the responsibility. He came to us thin, horribly dirty and matted, and frightened. He has been shaved, fed and loved and is ready for a special forever home. Ollie is white with a few grey accents. He looks like he will be a terrier mix with little short legs and probably a medium coat.

All the Ranch dogs are neutered, current on their 6 way shots and rabies. We never charge for our dogs, but donations are gratefully accepted. For photos and pictures of all our other dogs, please see our Website:
