nothernewbie
Hi, I am Kurt and my foster Mom says I am a very good boy. When my foster Mom says "kennel up" I am the first dog in my crate. I loooove my crate and eat all my meals neatly in there. I sleep through the night and go potty as soon as I am taken out. My sister went to her forever home last week and I have just had to join the pack of the bigger dogs here. I am hoping to have my own home before I bond with these dogs and then have to lose them like I lost my Mom and siblings. You may not know this but our little family is quite famous, We were rescued from a life of starvation and neglect and went to a foster from Lucky Dog. I am told that Mom, Mirabelle (now Sawyer) is very loved in her new home, Mom is very smart and very affectionate and I take after her. I love to snuggle but I am also independent and won't make a pest of myself. I will be a very small dog when I grow up but am not yappy, if you know what I mean, I am more a big dog in a small dog body. Love and many kisses, Kurt

nothernewbie
Great news, little Kurt, now Kirk, has found his forever home. They are a lovely family with two young and very well behaved boys. Kirk has kids to play with and will go back and forth to work with Mom and Dad so he will have a great life. He's come a long way from a place that was starving their dogs and worse. Thanks to Lucky Dog Rescue and Adoption Center this was all possible. nothernewbie
Truth is I am lucky to have been able to share some of his and his sister's young lives. It is always tearful to hand them over but joyful that they have found a wonderful home. I encourage everyone who possibly can to try fostering. It is a heart warming experience.
