El Saltos
Just buy it at Tony's or Costco. Easy and good.
daisy2013
Go to Susazon where you can buy it either frozen or not. It is fabulous.

lakeside7
Where is Susazon? On south side of the highway opposite Telmex, in small shopping strip just west of Dermika clinic
daisy2013
Susazon is located west of Chapalajara Real Estate, same little plaza that has a hairdresser, attorney and I think at the end there used to be a place that did visas. Susazon also serves coffee and it has tables inside and outside on the front. You can grill the arrachera or for a really great flavor buy the chorizo at El torrito and after grilling both, place them in a pan and put in oven for an hour or so. This is what my friend has done and her food is delicious, so now I do the same.
ComputerGuy
I, too, would like a good arrechera recipe, even though it is easily purchased around here. I usually Google for my recipes, but there are a lot of widely-divergent recipes for this, most of which look completely insane. For example, the one that urges "cut the flank steak into 3/4" strips and marinate two hours in a frying pan, then cook for ten minutes in the pan on the BBQ". Ahem. Others use packets of Goya, not easily available up north I'm sure, and so on. And then arguments about flank vs. skirt, etc.
maw7815
Susazon has great arrechera- I went in recently and wanted to make it the same day but all of theirs was frozen. When I asked if they had some not frozen they showed me another brand they carried that was cheaper and not frozen that I bought for $150/k and it was very good also. If you want to make your own marinade check out Fajitas by doing a search- that is the NOB name. maw
