HelperGuy
Usually has 18 a day. So I wonder how that compares to us? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2130488/Gang-troubled-El-Salvador-murder-free-day-nearly-years.html And could our gangs do the same? sendero
The news may not be all that good. There was an article in the NYTimes about a month ago about this issue. Many leaders in ES were not all that happy because the decrease in violence was an attempt to coordinate better treatment for the gang leaders who were in the prisons. In other words, the decrease in violence will last only as long as the gang leaders receive special treatment and favors from the prison guards/ bosses, wardens, etc. So we will see how this all plays out.
