I have photos--but no way to post them, since the photos have no URL.Friends and I had driven as far up the flank of the volcano as possible, enjoying the scenery, stopping at the lake on the flank, and then heading back down. At a crossroads, I hailed a passing pickup truck to ask which way to turn to go back to Ajijic. The driver started to answer and then pointed urgently at the volcano. "DID YOU SEE THAT?" Yes, I said, I saw it a while ago, when we were up there. "NO, DID YOU SEE THAT?" I whirled around to look and yowzer, the volcano was putting out a plume of ash just like the one we can see in Sparks' video. Amazing! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
