bdmowers
I need those black finger-staining covers on pecan seeds. Does anyone know where I can get access to a pecan tree in the area?

bdmowers
Actually, they are plum trees. Makes sense, there are very few pecan trees in this área.

More Liana
Pecans are grown commercially in the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Sonora. The majority of the harvest comes in November, although it can begin as early as August and can last until December. I've never seen them growing in central Mexico.I think you won't find those thick green hulls until late next summer, and then only if you go to the source.
