Yo1
I believe you can go to any funeral service provider you would like. LCS records your preferences.
Ellie
LCS has a Post Life & Emergency Planning Program. Booklets available in the office list local and a Guadalajara funeral home as well as notarios should you need their services for other legal documents. Various documents and procedures are listed in the booklet. Included is a form for completion with all of your pertinent information for each person - including local contacts, executors, doctors, housekeeper, etc. One does not need to be an LCS member to utilize this service. There is a 50 peso charge per person when the completed forms are returned to the Service Office. All records are computer entered and maybe updated for no charge at any time. Forms are also available on the LCS website http://lakechapalasociety.com/website/Health/emergency_planning.php Note: I'd recommend stopping by the office as the booklet from the website prints as far more pages than you'd like vs. that provided free of charge. For those already in the system a reminder to update your information as needed.
