MtnMama Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Greek yogurt is SOOO hard to make. It is thicker and creamer than regular yogurt. Get a good quality plain yogurt like Alpura. Get two coffee filters and a medium sized strainer. Put filters in strainer, add yogurt, cover and leave in refrigerator over night. Voila! Greek yogurt.
kasatcag Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 My yogurt costs 40 pesos per 1/2 liter. My yogurt is made from scratch with pasturized light milk and active cultures. No sugar or preservatives added.
Spinner Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 So happy to hear about it and that it is from scratch! Will be by to get some!
LaChula Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Superlake has Greek yogurt in the dairy section on the far right, closest to the deli counter. They have it in both liter and half-liter containers. Half liter is 35pesos.

What's the difference between regular yougurt and Greek yogurt? Thanks, Fox I make my own. I use the same method that MtnMama uses. It is almost ridiculously easy.
