MyHomeSweetHome Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 What's the latest flying in cabin pets from here to the states?
klm Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 I flew out of Guadalajara on Apr 14th on DELTA, bound for the US . I had no problem getting my cat in the cabin and there was a dog in a carrier right next to me. It costs a bundle, but it's worth it!!!
fordtruckman Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Call your airline for the most current information.
secheltsally Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Brought cat back to Canada with a stop in Phoenix...no problems at all this trip. Make sure you get a receipt and have all papers in order from vet few days before flying. This was US Air.
MyHomeSweetHome Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 I think we're looking at United. They started the problems, i thought.
jkgourmet Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Contact United - see this page http://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/animals/in_cabin.aspx IF they say it's permissible, get the name of the person who you speak with. Even better, get them to send you something in writing or give you a link to where you can print the information. And understand that you need a Plan B in case there are problems or changes of policy along the way. You have no idea how many emails I get about the problems with pets on planes, especially those flying internationally.
