Gray Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 I have a couple of renting questions, 1. If you sign a lease with a Mexican landlord, are they required to provide the lease in English and Spanish? 2. If your landlord has not been paying taxes on your rent, can you get into trouble with the authorities or is it purely their (the landlord's) issue?
Intercasa Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 1. No, although if in English to initiate court action they will have to have it translated by an official translator. 2. Residential probably wouldn't affect tenant, if commercial it is possible to affect both parties.
