Help with reading topics

After I read one of the topic, it is staying there and there is no little square for the other one to read. I have to make them all read by myself at the bottom of the page. It was not like that before. Can someone help me? What am I doing wrong?

i use the back button to go back to the list of topics.

I do use the back buttom to go back, but before the 1st topic that I read would go away now it is staying there, and there is no little square around the round thing to say this is the following one to read. It is difficult to explain, sorry. Thanks J. Guerin

Instead of hitting the back button I click on the "Back to Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara" link which doesn't leave the just read topic bolded.

Thank you all, I found an other way, I hit the back buttom and after I hit the view new content, that way it erase the one I just read and give me back the unread. J. Guerin
