How long did it take to get a response from Consulate in Canada

The Mexican Consulates in Canada indicate it takes 2-3 days to respond to a Visa Application from a Canadian.

For us, it's been 5 days and no word. Yes, I know it's Mexico and I need to be patient.

I e-mailed the application and all supporting documentation on April 21, 2013.

I called the lady with whom I had communication beforehand to be assured she received my e-mail and she advised she did.

We're dealing with the Montreal Consulate.

How long did it take other Canadians to get a response, obviously since November 2012 with the new regulations?

Eagles100, have you gone to the Montreal office in person yet? I was told that I could send my documentation to them in a zip file, but then you have to make an appointment to meet with them in person at their office ( they want to make sure that you match with the photos and identification that you sent....lol ! ) I'll be interested to see how you make out with this, because I will be starting the process soon, and I also have to use the Montreal office!

You should keep calling and/or emailing them until they respond. After I sent my documentation to them online, I asked them to confirm that they received it. I got an appointment to meet at their office the next week, but I had to call them and postpone it, due to my timeframe changing for the move.
