First time visiting a dentist at Lakeside, two names come up often, Dental Express, and Dr. Haro. Can anyone recommend either of them for a first-time bridge?

I just had a great experience regarding your exact problem. I had a row of teeth on my lower partial fall out and i went to a couple of dentists including Dental Express who told me it would be 1500 to fix it. Somehow I stumbled upon Dr. Carlos Cerda Valdez and he fixed it perfectly for 200 pesos. My upper partial was also in bad shape, being loose and ill fitting. He did some sort of resurfacing on the inside and adjustment that worked very well. We both agreed that sooner or later this would have to be replaced but for now everything is fine. He gave me a price for a new upper of 2,500 pesos that is almost half of other quoted. He has a very well appointed facility that is in the back lower level of the Plaza San Juan Ajijic across the highway from TelMex. A little hard to find since it is down a flight of stairs in the rear (NOT the dentist upstairs in the same plaza) His number is 766-0336. This guy is a winner!

Been to both Dental Express and Dr.Haro. Will never go back to Dental Express.

Here is how I see it:

Dental Express = Walmart or maybe Salvation Army

Dr. Haro = Nordstrom's

Just my opinion

Very interesting! Dental Express = Walmart..that's a novel way to put it ! Nordstrom is a lovely store, but a bit rich for me. Maybe the middle road...Dr. Valdez?

Gracias for the information.

A friend of mine has had excellent bridge work, done by Maria Villa (also my dentist for years). Her office is at Colon 4-A, in the middle of the block, same side of the street, south of Bancomer. Tele. 766-2428. She speaks good English and importantly guarantees here work.
