ChrisB Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 The Ajijic Charros need to upgrade their ladies rooms. They are having a benefit show of ladies riding teams on Sunday April 14 at 4 p.m. there willalso be a ballet folklorico. Tickets are 80p each. PM me for them or see any charro.

More Liana Posted March 26, 2013 Report Posted March 26, 2013 Escaramuzas are equestrians who perform the most incredible, daring, and sometimes dangerous horsewomanship while riding side-saddle in gorgeous 19th century style full skirted dresses. They are not the whole charro show, but they are definitely my favorite part of it. DO NOT miss an opportunity to see them ride. It is unforgettable.And by the way, the word 'escaramuza' literally means 'skirmish'.
