Or just not worry? Thanks in advance
sm1mex Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 We got a letter from our attorney stating we are in process. We also have a laminated copy of our FM2 to show that it is current and the letter showing we are in process of going permanente.
E=MC2 Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 Safer to have a letter-----------but----------------- I have never been asked for my FM3, and I travel a lot in Mexico.

You need to carry on you at all times the form they give you with your NUT [Numero Unico de Tramite] to prove you are "Being processed " by the INM when in Mexico. It is your temporary INM document. Intercasa Posted February 22, 2013 Report Posted February 22, 2013 In your case I would recommend getting a certified copy of your FM3 from a notary, cost is 50 pesos and then you will have a copy accepted as the original and the receipt showing it is in process as well.
