CHILLIN
I thought this was interesting. A small town, with a low tax base (like Chapala/Ajijic) was having troubles keeping the roads repaired. The Dominoe's franchise kicked in $5000 U.S. for repairs, they only thing they wanted was the good publicity (and free advertising). I wonder if Dominoes Mexico would do the same thing? Ms. Chillin told me that with my weight loss that I was starting to look like a "Greek God". So I puffed up and said, which one Zeus, Atlas, etc. No, she said, Dominoes, the God of Pizza. Sometimes life can be so cruel 😂. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/posteverything/wp/2018/06/13/why-i-let-dominos-fill-my-citys-potholes/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.3eb9145c152c
Mainecoons
I saw that story and in the comments more than a few suggested they could use Domino's pizza for patching the pot holes. I tend to agree with that idea.

geeser
I don't like the potholes but, a 4" pothole is no more damaging to your health or your vehicle than a 4" tope. Of course you've got some chance of missing the pothole.
ComputerGuy
Disagree. Sharp edges, sudden drops, hub damage. Much worse, especially at speed when you don't see it.
CHILLIN
Maybe a company like Walmart Mexico could sponsor topes and pedestrian crossing paint too.
