mnaiman
Anyone know of a place in Lakeside where I can rent a concrete pump to move the material onto a back lot so that a floor can be poured ? There is only street access for the concrete truck . The closet one can get to the building site is about 125 feet away.
AngusMactavish
Your concrete supplier can't refer you?
Go Solar
What size area? That's a LONG way to move concrete, doubt you'll find it at lakeside. Assume you've considered just having 1 or 2 portable mixers on site, >>> many large floors are successfully poured this way, and the local masons are good at it, either in one piece or sectioning it up, whichever way works best for the setup. Jreboll
I remember when we poured our concrete roof we had two groups mixing concrete and workers with buckets going up two ladders. That roof hasn’t leaked in over thirty years
NachoOE
Unless you are pouring a very special type of concrete I agree with the suggestions of doing it on site. It will cost pretty much the same maybe even a little less expensive, it might take a little more time. But you could also add the benefit of providing more work to local workers and not to a machine.
