Ranch Dog Adoption Day this Saturday - 10 March

Recommended Posts

Here is this weeks line-up

Puppies in the puppy pen:
Jazzy is a 4 month old, dark brindle girl with a soft, plushy coat who just oozes charm. Her front half is mostly brindle while the back half is mostly black. Very unusual girl. Her brother Rocky has found his home but Jazzy is still looking. We expect her to be medium sized but stay a lap dog at heart.

Wynona was rescued with 3 other siblings (Bijou, Willa, and Maddox, who have been adopted). At about 4 months old, we expect her to be on the small side of medium. She is loving, lively and playful but not hyper. Mama-dog and the other pups looked more terrier but Wynona looks more hound with a stunning brindle pattern that you can’t appreciate in a photo.

Adult dogs on leashes:
Bentley is irresistibly cute with way too much personality! This 6 month-old-fuzzy boy was rescued from the street. When grown, he most likely will be medium to large in size. He looks like there may be some purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) brown variety in the mix along with some breed with a soft plushy coat. A wonderful home hopefully awaits this adorable little guy.

Chili is a pretty brown and white female Boxer. She is about 2 years old and medium sized. Chili recently had a large litter, who are elsewhere, but she is starting to regain weight and get back her girlish figure. She has lots of energy and enthusiasm, a perfect companion for the right person.

Wanda, a 2 year old, medium sized Yellow Lab mix, was abandoned. When she came, she was sad, shy and would not eat. Ranch life cheered her up, and volunteers discovered her "perpetual passion" – playing catch with tennis balls. Wanda loves nothing more than chasing "her ball"! She would be perfect for someone not able to go on long walks, but with a yard and able to throw a ball. Could YOU be her fun companion? Wanda is waiting!

Jethro is a medium large boy who appears to have a bit of Red Heeler in the mix. The rest looks like purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) large reddish tan variety. We think he is about 2 years old. Jethro is a sweet, friendly, gentle fellow who would like nothing more than to share walks and cuddles with his special people.

All our Ranch dogs are neutered, current on their 6 way shots and rabies. Puppies have had some shots and been wormed, but most are not yet altered. We will pay for altering when they are old enough. There is no charge for adoption, but donations are gratefully accepted. For photos and pictures of our other dogs please see our Webpage:
