HoneyBee Posted January 25, 2018 Report Share Posted January 25, 2018 Good morning, About an hour ago I heard huge explosions in the Chapala area. I was at the Perico and actualy felt pressure waves. I inquired about this with several people and they all told me that they went to their window to see what was happening. These were not fireworks. Any idea ? Xena Posted January 25, 2018 Report Share Posted January 25, 2018 I agree with the thunder/lightning explanation. I live in the north east corner of Chapala. About that time I saw a brilliant flash of light followed in a few seconds by what my kids called a thunder boom. The house vibrated with the force of it. My faithful watch dog leapt off the sofa and raced to the door. She stood spread legged, hair along her back raised, barking ferociously. No Thunder Boom was going to get past her.
