Sonia
Others may have known this but I did not until today. A person may go from an Humanitarian visa to a Temporary or Permanent Resident and the process is completed within Mexico at a local INM office. The financials required are the same as those for a pre-approved TR or PR visa at a Mexican consulate and all financials must be translated by a certified translator. Throughout the year I always have at least one Humanitarian visa in progress and right now 4. http://www.soniadiaz.mx/immigration---visas.html
