Birds like their cages

Recommended Posts

I've kept birds since childhood, have five at the mo.

I always let mine out often to fly around .. they always return, except for a large parrot I once had.

I figure birds soon sense they can't get out and also sense nobody can get in, as in raptors.

I've seen very small cages -- the rage here in Mexico -- with breeding pairs enjoying life.  Would they breed if they were miserable?

They seem to enjoy a variety of food.  You might be surprised at what they will eat besides seeds (anything but a nutritious giving).

I have trained young parakeets to hang out on my person in 15 minutes.  That really makes a hit if you like to mix it up with children.

Just thought I'd pass it on.
