Also Geraldo's (???) La Bella Vida in SJC where he served a small menu, including pizzas...is he/it still there?? And Las Caballerizas which specialized in grilled meats, part of Monte Coxala; grilled meats were good but a limited menu. Our few tries at Chac Lan were very disappointing given the price points. But all these visits were 5+ years ago. What's the best bet these days for both good food and an impressive 'whole lake view" from higher up? I am familiar with lower lake views at places such as Nueva Posada, Avocado Club and the Chapala and SJC seafood eateries at the lakefront.
