La Mision Posted June 27, 2017 Report Share Posted June 27, 2017 This year we will be offering from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on both days a special Celebration Buffet featuring Soup Starter of either Grandmas Vancouver Island Clam Chowder or French Onion Soup. Your entrée will be a choice of BBQ Ribs, Steak, Hamburger or Costco Hot Dog, with sides being Corn on the Cob, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw. Chef Julian will be on the grill so you can watch him with that big smile on his face. Desert will be Red and White Cake and Ice Cream on Canada Day and Red, White and Blue Cake and Ice Cream on American Independence Day. Guaranteed no one will leave hungry. There will also be live music of all your favorite patriotic music form both countries and your favorite songs from each countries most popular artists. The regular menu will also be available all day. So put a Patriotic Group together and come on over and have a blast remember it is Canada's 150th. I was on Parliament Hill for Canada's Centennial and still get goose bumps just remembering that experience. Let us all come together to celebrate these two fabulous examples of what neighbors should be for the rest of the world to follow.
