shortstop Posted June 27, 2017 Report Share Posted June 27, 2017 We have the loudest crickets in our yard. We had them in Canada but never this loud. Sounds like they are sitting on the bedroom windowsill. They start at sundown & carry on all night, enough to keep you awake or wake you up if they stop long enough to enable sleep. Its the first year we've had this problem. Is their a deterrent? I don't want to kill them just convince them to move away or at least to the furthest reaches of our yard. Thanks for any info. They sound like loud crickets. I have them all over my yard this season. Please don't kill them, amphibians worldwide are in dire trouble these days.
