MtnMama
My husband has misplaced the car again. He parked the car somewhere near Coppel and can't find it. On the off chance it was illegally parked and has been towed, anyone have the phone # and address for the Chapala impound lot? He likes to walk and often parks several blocks from his destination. (That's what happened last time he lost the car - it was parked on a short street I couldn't believe he found to park on.) Or if you see an old, lonely-looking beige VW Pointer it may be ours. Lexy
Is it too soon to tell the Chapala police the car may have been stolen? Or just ask for their help? Or is the situation just too darn impossible to report to them? Awful problem. I hope it will be resolved soon. Lexy
MtnMama
The odds that anyone would steal an 18 year old clunker are pretty remote. Much more likely that it is just misplaced. Or towed
Lexy
Our car was towed to this compound after an accident a few years ago. We went to retrieve some personal stuff in the car. The Chapala traffic police could give you the phone # and address, unless of course you've already thought of this and it didn't work out.
