Joyfull
Border crossing is affected. http://strangesounds.org/2017/05/tornado-nuevo-laredo-mexico-us-border-closed-video.html
giltner68
That should make crossing a long term job for a time with all the trucks now concentrated on Bridge II.
RickS
The article is a bit misleading as "the border" is not closed.... only the World Trade Bridge crossing, which is a commercial crossing only. Colombia and Bridge II remain open. They also referred to it as "Bridge 3" but it is actually Bridge 4.... Bridge 3 is Colombia which is open according to reports. P.S. I was at that World Trade Bridge Customs office (shown in the pictures as being blown away!) three weeks ago Importing a vehicle.

RickS
If I were heading NOB I would surely check with the website that shows 'wait times'. Either that or use McAllen or Piedras Negras/Eagle Pass.

RickS
=Mostlylost, are you using the 'CBPwait time' website for that info? I just looked at it, one hour later (8PM) and Colombia has light truck traffic.... 10 minute wait. How is that possible?
