How to help our local shelters

With all the newcomers here at Lakeside I would like to introduce you to a food drive for our local shelters that has been in effect for many years. Many of our shelters are at full capacity and work very hard to care for and feed  the many needy animals they take in. Many here may not be able to adopt but can help in other ways. One of those ways is to help with the feeding of these animals. The process is very simple.  You can go to the Lakeside Friends of the Animals pet food store/shelter for cats in Riberas and purchase food for your shelter choice and they will hold it there for them to pick up. We personally buy food on a monthly basis for our chosen shelter. Please consider helping to feed our local animals, it will be so greatly appreciated. Thank you for caring.
