CalGal
I have a new Chromebook and desperately need help installing my new HP printer. Also need help with how to use My Drive, Docs, Printing, etc. Is anyone out there willing to come give me instructions? Will pay by hour.
ComputerGuy
Chromebooks require that you be registered with Google Cloud Print. I have not yet done this, but I'm sure it's do-able. Call me if you like at the number under my user name. ... Mike

I finally got my Classic printer to work via cable, but was wondering if you knew much about Chrome and how to use My Drive, etc. Sure need tutoring! ComputerGuy
Sorry, part of my post went AWOL. You don't need Cloud Print, but it can be difficult to find the correct information. HP has something called HP Print for Chrome https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04683559 I have worked on a few Chromebooks, and basically they are a laptop with a browser as the operating system, instead of Windows, Linux, or Mac OS. So addons can be installed, but programs cannot. Everything is Web based. So, for example, you would use Google Docs instead of MS Office. Google Docs is online only, and you save your work to Google Drive. So right off, a Google account of some kind is required (like GMail).
