stuphel Posted February 18, 2017 Report Share Posted February 18, 2017 My wife had an MRI done on her knee yesterday at Grupo RIO on Avenida Lopez Mateo Norte (at Florencia) and while I think is was a version of the big machine, she never had to have her head inside as the scan was only for her knee. That may work for you if it's a claustrophobic problem. She had her images to take to the Dr. 20 minutes after the scan, and results report available today. TelsZ4 Posted February 18, 2017 Report Share Posted February 18, 2017 If it's only your knee they are scaning then You go into the machine feet first instead of head first... about up to your waist, The rest of your body stays out side, at least that's the way they did it when I had my scan..
