Autumn sky
I'm looking for the best groomer for my Australian Shepherd. This breed has two coats and requires someone with the knowledge of what and how to groom correctly. In addition to that our Aussie is very sensitive and shy, he needs someone that is warm and gentle. If you are that someone or know a groomer that fits please let me know. dboisclair
I can't help you but I'll be watching this closely. We arrived on the 4th with our Aussie and he'll need a good cut fairly soon. Cheers!
bdlngton
I am not aware of what is involved in grooming this breed. Do Australian shepherds require more than bathing and a good brushing? Do they have a living hair that requires clipping?
MtnMama
My long haired Corgi has a very similar coat, thick wooly undercoat and long guard hairs. The groomer - I think his name is Roberto - at Dra. Berenice does a very good job on his coat. I didn't think you cut an Aussie's coat either??? dboisclair
The true Aussie owner probably doesn't cut their hair, especially if it's a show dog, but we have Austin's hair trimmed a bit about every two months. Can you give me some more details about Dra. Bernice and Roberto. If they do a good job on your Corgi and you're happy with how your dog is treated I'm sure they'll be great for us. bdlngton
I have my Bedlingtons groomed at Furry Friends in Mirasol. My girl loves going there so obviously they treat them well. They do a very respectable job on a breed that not only requires what is considered the most difficult of all dog clips but a breed and clip they had never seen before meeting my two. Robert Chapala
Edgar 333 454 2635 Comes to your house and listens to what you want done. You can supervise while he grooms. Bathes the dog first. Has a nice grooming table and is very gentle with your dog. Best part, your dog is less anxious as he/she stays at your place while being groomed. artsnob
I use Edgar for my Chicka, after a horrible experience with another groomer, Edgar talks to her, she loves him and he now comes once a month, for years now, I would never use anyone else
