Never Colour Copies of Mexican ID Please

Never colour copies of official Mexican ID.
Person looses his PR visa. He enters Mexico showing a colour copy. INM takes it and he is accused of fraud. As per my web site, never colour copies, please. He is now a tourist in Mexico and will need to start over at a Mexican consulate. http://www.soniadiaz.mx/immigration.html Yes you can notarize but why not simply black and white.
Buen Fin

Even better, have a notary make a certified copy to carry in your car and leave original at home unless you are traveling.  Certified copies done by notaries are accepted as the original

Must the copies be certified by Mexican notary or is a certified copy done in US accepted?  Thanks  BB

Only Mexican notary as even if a US notary could they may ask for an apostille as well as translation of the apostille and notary certification which then makes the cost way higher than a Mexican notary who usually would charge 50 to 100 pesos.  Mexican notaries certify copies with a holographic sticker as well as sign and stamp.
