PORTIMOM
Because baby it's wet and cold outside! Any restaurants with comfort type-a-style food or other? Thanks for your help! We're in Ajijic, but do have a car!
JayBearII
Yves and La Nueva Posada both have inside areas as well as outside. Ajijic Tango and Mannix have all their seating inside. This is just for starters.
Go Solar
Agree with above mentions, plus Roberto's has some nice indoor seating, also check El Ancla just west of Ajijic.

ComputerGuy
Tango has massive heaters. Cocinart on Saturday night was particularly cold, especially since they have open doors on both sides.
Guest bennie2
is tango using the heaters? still i would prefere an UN open space. the wind & storm needs that enclosure.

PORTIMOM
I had to add this... My husband and I just devoured the soup I picked up from Fred & Rea's kitchen. I come from a family of bakers and cooks... and the chicken stock soups are amazing. We just picked some up... I feel like I am finally warming up! They are due to post in the food section.... about their soups and other items. Delicious... and I am so very particular when it comes to soup. Haciendadellago
While usually our garden area is where everyone wants to dine, we have moved most of our tables inside our great-room and formal dinning room and will have all three fireplaces going. http://www.haciendadellagoajijic.com/gastronomy/restaurant.htm
PORTIMOM
Went to Manix last night. The food was excellent. My husband had the corned beef and cabbage... so tender. Note: Their menu last night gave us an option of three different choices, all included soup & dessert. So this is for dinner, rather than appetizers. Very good... We'd definitely go back.
